First coat of plasti dip is on, three more to go. After that comes the black. The final product is based off this:
After the Plasti dip comes new wheels, tubes, tires, and disk brakes.

Surprised you didn’t remove more stuff. I understand not wanting to pull the crankset, but sliding out the seat tube and unbolting the breaks seems like it would have been easy.

The seat is stuck in place, as the bike is nearly 30 years old. As for the breaks, the cables run under the handlebar wrap, and I didn’t feel like having to re-wrap the bars.

Exactly how do you plan to mount disc brakes on that frame? It lacks mounting tabs and it doesn't look like you are planning to have any soldered on.

How do you plan on doing disk brakes? Old bikes like that lack the correct mounting points for the calipers? Any who, looks like a fun project.
